Section 7. Social Security Disability Benefits And Workers Compensation In some cases, injured workers can receive both social security disability benefits and workman compensation. However, an injured worker does not receive the amount of both social security disability benefits and workman compensation added together, but receives a certain amount with both social security disability benefits and workers comp contributing to the payment. Generally, the payment to the injured worker is the injured workers' Average Current Earnings (ACE) as computed by the Federal Social Security program.
